Lumecca IPL Treatment
If you have sun-damaged skin, age spots, facial veins, rosacea or other pigmentation issues you’d like to get rid of, Lumecca is for you. Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions. After just 1-3 uses, patients notice significant improvements in the complexion and clarity of the skin.
Lumecca operates using photothermolysis, which provides a photo facial through the delivery of comfortable light treatment. Thanks to cooling technology and a wide range of wavelengths, Lumecca maximizes patient comfort and can be safely used on both light and dark skin types!
Although it can be used all over the body, the most common areas of treatment are zones that are regularly exposed to the sun, like the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands, and arms. After the treatment, which consists of a bright light flashing on the treatment area, the pigmented spots treated will begin to change color and flake off over the next week- revealing glowing, smooth skin. If you’re treating vascular lesions on the face, the vein may change color briefly before disappearing after a few days, resulting in a even complexion.
Morpheus8 Skin Remodeling
Through the combination of microneedling and radiofrequency (RF), the Morpheus8 is an innovative tool that has the power to reach the deepest layers of skin and transform its structure, resulting in tightened and smooth skin. Morpheus8 can also be effective in the removal of acne scarring, sun damage, uneven skin tone, wrinkles and stretch marks. What makes Morpheus8 stand out is its ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than any other microneedling device at 4mm. The technology stimulates collagen production and allows the underlying layers of skin and fat cells to be reorganized, resulting in natural anti-aging and a more radiant complexion!
The Morpheus8 can be used on all skin types and areas of the body, with the most common treatment areas being the lower face and neck. Depending on the severity of skin laxity or damage, you can expect 1-3 sessions with 4 weeks in between each to see optimal results. After just one session however, you can expect to see the most noticable results three weeks after the treatment.
This minimally invasive treament offers maximum patient comfort thanks to a topical numbing cream and sharper needles that cause smaller punctures without tugging or pulling on the skin. Another benefit of the Morpheus8 treatment is virtually no down time. You may notice microlesions on the face for a few days and experience slight redness for up to a week, but makeup can be worn just 1-2 days after the treatment. Avoiding direct sun exposure immediately after the session is recommended so you can keep your skin youthful and glowing!
DiolazeXL Laser Hair Removal
The DiolazeXL is the champion of laser hair removal. With the first triple contact cooling technology, you can have long-term hair removal without the pain. The DiolazeXL has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, allowing for quick treatment times and just a few visits to the medspa to see sustained hair removal. The gold standard laser can target even the most stubborn hair, and is safe for all skin types including IV!
The DiolazeXL works by targeting a diode laser beam at the hair follicle, which passes through the skin and and heats up the root of the hair, preventing future hair growth. It can be used on most areas of the body, with the most common being legs, arms, chest, back, shoulders, stomach, neck, chin and sideburns. Hair is reduced with each treatment, but the best results are seen after 4-6 sessions, depending on your hair color and type, treatment area, and skin tone.
After treatment, the skin may be red and feel like a sunburn for up to two days. As the hair begins to fall out over the next month, it’s recommended to avoid direct sun exposure to the treatment area. After the area has fully healed, you can enjoy having silky smooth skin without all the upkeep!
