Anti-Aging like Never Before

As we age, things like hyperpigmentation, vascular lesions, and sunspots become much more common - and harder to treat. Dark spots and spider veins on the face and body can be hard to conceal and often damaging to your self-esteem. Over-the-counter products and treatments for these issues don’t make much of an impact, either. But now you can improve your complexion, diminish dark spots and finally get the anti-aging effects you’ve been looking for with the Inmode Optimas: Lumecca IPL treatment at New Health Kansas medspa.

Superior Photorejuvenation

The Lumecca is a non-invasive IPL (intense pulsed light) that allows for complete photorejuvenation in just 1-2 sessions versus the 4-6 sessions it takes for a standard IPL. Thanks to its size and high pulse repetition, patients can see dramatic results in days - not weeks.

The Lumecca laser is designed specifically for superficial color correction and photorejuvination. It works by using photo-thermolysis while delivering specific wavelengths of light that interact with red or brown skin pigments in the skin. The pigments absorb the light and are then destroyed - often in just one session. While IPL is generally not be suited for darker or tanned skin types, Lumecca's technology allows for noticeable dark spots and imperfections to be safely targeted on light and dark skin types.

Clinically Proven

The Lumecca has undergone a clinical study that found it to be extremely effective after just one use, and it even made a noticeable improvement on some patients who had previously tried other IPL’s. With most patients needing just 1-2 treatments, the Lumecca will save you time and money on other costly and less effective photorejuvenation treatments. Make an appointment with New Health Kansas today to look years younger and experience the results for yourself.

Lumecca Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Am I a good candidate for Lumecca IPL treatment?
A:

The Lumecca can safely treat both light and dark skin types thanks to its technology that lessens the risk of Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH). If you have avoided tanning for one month prior to treatment and have age spots, sun damage, rosacea, vascular lesions, or other unwanted skin pigmentation issues, you're a good candidate for Lumecca.

Q:How does it work?
A:

The Lumecca works by using specific wavelengths of light in a laser to target red and brown pigments in the skin, which are then absorbed by those pigments and destroyed through a process called photothermolysis. This process takes place without damaging any surrounding skin.

Q:Does it hurt?
A:

The treatment is fast and generally considered to be less painful than laser hair removal. With Lumecca's added features for patient comfort, the sensation is compared to light rubber band snaps on the skin.

Q:How many treatments are needed to see results?
A:

Patients can see improvements in their skin complexion in just one session, and complete photorejuvenation of the skin can take place with just 1-2 treatments. Better results can continue to be seen with multiple sessions depending on your skin type and the severity of the skin damage.

Q:Are there any side effects or downtime?
A:

The skin treated may be red and slightly warm for an hour after treatment, and it's recommended to avoid direct sunlight immediately after as the area may be sensitive. For pigmented spot treatments, you may notice the treatment spot darkening 1-2 days after treatment, and the pigmented lesions will begin to flake off in the week following. For treatment of vascular lesions, you may see the vein blanch and disappear or change color in the vessel, which dissipates after a few days.
